Open Call for California Grown, Plein Air 2025 exhibition

Call for entries is open to San Diego County artists to support and promote

California and local agriculture, including Farmers’ Markets, farms, and local produce.

Coordinator:  Joyce Trinh, San Diego Chapter California Art Club

Last day to submit artwork online: April 26, 2025

Submission fee: $20.00, non-refundable, with a maximum of two (2) paintings.

Medium: Open to all media, except Photography, 3-D, digital or giclee artworks.

Qualification: Plein air artwork must be original and created within 2025.
Artworks executed under direct guidance in classes/workshops or clear
abuse of copyrighted intellectual property will not be accepted into the exhibition.

Exhibition Reception: Saturday, May 17, 2025, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Open to the public.

All artworks must be for sale.
Sold artwork must remain with the exhibition through the end of the show.

Plein Air Paint Out in Bonita on Friday May 16th with Mehl Lawson:

Meet at the museum at 9am for paint out maps as well as donuts and coffee

Artwork from the paint out can be submitted to the “Wet Gallery” in museum.
