RSVP Organized by South Bay San Diego Art & Science team Vallo Riberto and Kaz Maslanka, this symposium offers performances and discussions about the San Diego Microtonal Music Scene. The title alludes to the infinity of pitches in microtonal music coined by one of San Diego’s must celebrated microtonal composers, Harry Partch. During the residency, Quintero will extract pigments from natural sources found in the land surrounding the museum. Her natural dyes pull memory, color and history from the local plants.
