Bonita Train & Gift of the Magi, Dr. Teller’s Three Wise Men collection

December 7, 2024  – January 5, 2025 Artist Mehl Lawson has created a Bonita Train setting this year in the museum.   Have you ever wondered where the train was in Bonita?

Accident at Edgewater Rd.

the Otay Limited ( National City & Otay) ran through the Sweetwater/ Bonita Valley.  The train was used to build the Sweetwater Dam.

Also this month, find Dr. Harris Teller’s “Gift of the Magi” collection in the museum.   Dr. Teller collected thousands of magi as he traveled the world with the Navy.  He started collecting in order to comfort soldiers in the infirmary for the holidays.  Find different selections from his collection each December in the museum.
