New Native Narratives is an exhibition created by TheFront gallery in San Ysidro. It is the final presentation of the artworks by 17 young artists from San Diego, CA and Tijuana, MX.
These young artists were mentored by established artists including Francisco Eme, Sara Solaimani, Mely Barragan, and Andrea Chung, to develop work relevant to our time and region. Selected artworks from the exhibition will travel to the Bonita Museum & Cultural Center for the month of September.
Artworks in New Native Narratives highlight life in our border region as well as travels beyond interpreting life on our planet in a most thoughtful and thought provoking way.
